Somahya joined OPTRON Group in 2021 as HR Manager.

She was previously employed in the Financial Services sector, where she has over 10 years’ experience in HR with a broad set of skills across People Practices.

Somahya holds a BCom Honours degree, majoring in HR Management and has professional membership with the SA Board for People Practices. She values cross-functional relationships and is passionate about developing people and driving initiatives that enable employee well-being with the aim of improved performance at the workplace.
